Archery GB National Clout Championships

Location - Hopgrove Sports Field, Malton Road, York, YO32 9TE (Home of York Archers)

UK Record and Tassel Status Archery GB Double one-way Clout

Shot in ends of 6 arrows in 4 minutes

Guest of Honour - To be advised

Senior Judge - Sarah Dickinson, Chris Battersby, Allan Shuker and others

Event Timings - Assembly at 10.15am, Sighters at 10.30am.

Entry fees - Seniors £17.00 Juniors £10.00

  • Awards - National Trophies will be awarded to the highest placed British Archery GB members.

  • Distances according to Archery GB age groups. Juniors may shoot the senior distance, and participate as a senior, but the senior fee will be payable.

  • 50+ Age category will apply - Only applicable to the reduced distances of 140/120 yards.

  • Please refer to the Archery GB Rules of Shooting for the dress regulations.

  • Archers should comply with dress regulations until after the presentations.

  • Archers competing at record status tournaments may be liable for drugs testing.

  • Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply.

  • Drug Testing Non-compliance will be treated as a positive result.

  • Parents / Guardians must complete the relevant box on the entry forms giving consent for junior archers (under 18's) to be drug tested if approached.

  • Lost arrows must be reported to a judge or member of the field party (please remember to inform them Lost Arrows if you later find the arrow).

  • It is the archer’s responsibility to account for all arrows before leaving the field.

  • In line with the recommendation in the Archery GB Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy, the organisers of this event request that any person wishing to engage in any video, zoom or close range photography should register their details with Tournament Organiser at the registration desk before carrying out any such photography. If parents/carers have any particular concern about their child/young person being photographed or filmed they should notify the organisers.

  • Please note in line with the Photographing & Filming Children & Young People in Sport policy you may be required to obtain written permission from the subject and/or their parents/carers to publish images on the internet or in print.

  • Archery GB Competitions reserves the right to decline entry to any person unable to meet or abide by these conditions.

  • If you are concerned about any photography taking place at this event, please contact the Tournament Organiser who will be pleased to discuss this matter with you.

  • In the event of protracted poor weather, to confirm that the ground is suitable for the event, please contact the Tournament Organiser.

  • By entering this event you agree that details such as Name, Bow style, Category or Club may be published in documents or lists relating to the event, and at a schedule decided by Archery GB Competitions.

  • Documentation Target List will be published on the Archery GB website and on the day of the shoot.

  • Please contact the organiser if you need confirmation of entry.

  • Results will be published at www.archerygb.org/tournaments.

  • Disputes - The decision of Archery GB Competitions will be final.

Camping is available on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at £5 per night per unit - This must be booked using the the camping option. Campers should not arrive before 3pm on the Friday as the gates will be locked.
